Chief Legal Officer Wins Outstanding Business Leader of the Year

There was exciting news for Northwood Banks at the British Conveyancing Awards 2025, held in March at 8 Northumberland Place, London. Our Chief Legal Officer, Helen Claydon, was announced winner in the hotly contested Outstanding Business Leader of the Year category. This is worthy recognition for Helen, who had made a positive difference to company direction and processes since the acquisition by HAIG Legal Group.

Reflecting on her success Helen said, “I am delighted to win this award, especially as it’s the first I’ve won during my career in Conveyancing. I have been lucky enough to win awards in my other disciplines; Trusts, Estate Planning, and Probate. But this is special, as it’s my first in Conveyancing. Thank you to everyone at Northwood Banks for the hard work and drive, which is behind this success.”

This is not the first time Northwood Banks have taken home a trophy from the British Conveyancing Awards. Last year we also collected the “One to Watch” Conveyancer of the Year Award.
